With so many projectors on the market, what makes the UltraProjector Model 100 unique?

The UltraProjector Model 100 is the first video projector designed from the ground up as a weather-proof, stand-alone projector. It was NOT designed for the board room or for watching high-def movies... It IS perfect for use in indoor or outdoor situations where an inexpensive, low power, silent projector is needed with no user interaction and no PC required.  The UltraProjector Model 100 is simple - Just connect via USB to a PC, drag and drop your videos in the order you want them played, unplug and your ready to go.  To project, simply plug in to the nearest AC power outlet.  Your videos start playing in the order you copied them and continuously repeat until powered off.  No interaction is needed - there are no buttons on the projector!

How is the UltraProjector Model 100 so inexpensive? Is it low quality?

The UltraProjector Model 100 is inexpensive because it is simple.  There are no complex interfaces, no buttons, no keystone correction, no fan, no remote control, no complicated lens assemblies.  It was designed that way - to fill a need for an inexpensive, low power, silent, stand-alone projector.  We sourced the latest components that were already being massed produced and put them together in a unique way.  In fact, we use all glass lenses instead of the cheap plastic lenses used in other low budget projectors!

Does the ultraProjector Model 100 only work with Windows? What about Mac?

The UltraProjector Model 100 was designed and tested for use on Windows PCs running XP and/or Vista.  Many customers have purchased them and used with Macs, but they have run into and overcome small issues with Mac hidden files being left on the UltraProjector Model 100 causing it to hang - in some cases, special tools were needed to remove the files and get the projector to work.  In addition, the conversion software we provide on our downloads page will only run on Windows, therefore a different Xvid encoder will be needed. We cannot support use on Mac, but will do our best.

What are common uses for the UltraProjector Model 100?

How do I load video content?

Content is loaded simply by plugging in the included USB cable between the UltraProjector Model 100 and your PC.  Your PC will recognize the UltraProjector Model 100 as a flash drive and map to an available drive letter.  You can then simply delete, cut, and copy content between the UltraProjector Model 100 and your PC.  The order video files are copied to the UltraProjector Model 100 determines the playback order.

What file format does the UltraProjector Model 100 accept?
